Cruz Diaz
A Curandero raised in the jungles and mountains of El Tuito, Mexico. He was taught about the local plant medicine from his grandfather. Santiago has been a practicing Curandero in this community for approximately 40 years.

Alicia Rodriguez
Born in nearby Llano Grande, Alicia grew up in a family of Curanderas. Following in the family tradition she has been practicing as a local Curandera for over 20 years. Alicia taught for The Center for Traditional Medicine and continues to teach in the community.

Charles R. Garcia
Charles is a third generation Hispanic folkhealer. He is director
of the California School of Traditional Hispanic Herbalism. He has lectured
for various departments at the University of California, Berkeley,
University of California Davis, Wilderness Medical Society at UC San
Francisco, and many other organizations. His latest hobby is learning ballroom dancing with his wife Lynn.
